Ferrol

BUD

The bud has a semi-open or open blade and anthocyanin pigmentation forming a border around the edge, with weak intensity. Medium-high and very low or null density of downward and upright hairs, respectively.

FLOWER, INFLORESCENCE, YOUNG LEAF

Hermaphrodite flowers. The first inflorescence inserts at fourth node. 2.138 average number of inflorescences and 11.90 cm average length.

ADULT LEAF

The blade is pentagonal-shaped with five lobes. No anthocyanin pigmentation on the main veins. Medium-green colour of the blade. Teeth with one side concave and the other convex or both rectilinear. Both types coexisting within the same leaf. Petiole sinuses slightly open, U-shaped base with the vein near the petiole joint. Open upper lateral sinuses, with V-shaped base. Low and medium downward and upright, respectively, hairiness density between main veins; and medium over the veins on the underside, being more frequent on the bifurcation of the veins, where hairs are laterally inserted. Presence and absence of downward and upright hairiness on the bundle veins.

BUNCH

Medium-compact or compact and conical bunches, with a wing. 50-75 berries per bunch.

BERRY AND SEED

Uniform, spherical and blue-black berries. Not-coloured pulp, juicy, soft and without particular flavour. Medium bloom and hilum little apparent. The pedicel sometimes is red and easy to separate and it presents a ring.

OTHER

Erect shoot, green on the ventral side of the nodes and internodes and green with red stripes on the dorsal side. Low-medium and null or very low downward and upright density, respectively, on nodes and internodes. Null or very weak anthocyanin bud pigmentation. Discontinuous tendrils distribution and 18.13 cm average length.
