Description
BUD
The bud has an open blade and the anthocyanin pigmentation forming a border around the edge with medium intensity. Medium-high density of downward hairs and null or very low of upright hairs. Tendrils distribution on the branch is discontinuous.
FLOWER, INFLORESCENCE, YOUNG LEAF
Green blade of young leaves.
ADULT LEAF
The blade is orbicular-shaped, sometimes pentagonal. Leaves with five lobes, sometimes with three and five. Medium-green blade and sometimes, the main veins present anthocyanin pigmentation in the petiole joint on the bundle. Teeth are medium-sized, with convex sides, sometimes mixed in the same leaf with teeth with rectilinear sides. Open petiole sinuses; sometimes closed or overlapping. Petiole sinuses V-shaped, without teeth and not limited by veins on their base. Open upper lateral sinuses or absent sinuses, with U or V-shaped base, sometimes with a tooth. When these sinuses are present, their deep ranges from very shallow to medium, being this the most frequent. Medium and low density, respectively, of downward and upright hairs on the underside between the main veins. On the underside of the veins, medium-high and medium-low density of downward and upright hairs, respectively. The blade presents, sometimes, downward hairs, but never upright ones. Petiole hairiness is rare. Petiole tends to be shorter than the main vein.
BUNCH
Medium-compact and conical bunches, sometimes with a wing.
BERRY AND SEED
Uniform, spherical-shaped and blue-black berries. Medium bloom and hilum little apparent. Not-coloured pulp, juicy, soft and without particular flavour. The pedicel is easy to separate and it presents a ring.
