Description

BUD

The bud has an open blade and the anthocyanin pigmentation forming a border around the edge with weak intensity. High-very high density of downward hairs and null or very low of upright hairs. Tendrils distribution on the branch is discontinuous.

FLOWER, INFLORESCENCE, YOUNG LEAF

Young leaves with green blade.

ADULT LEAF

The blade is pentagonal-shaped. Leaves with three lobes and light-medium-green on the top. Main veins with medium anthocyanin pigmentation on the bundle, reaching the second bifurcation; on the underside, the pigmentation is weaker, and only reaches the first bifurcation. Teeth with convex sides; sometimes, teeth with convex and rectilinear sides appear mixed on the same blade. Teeth size in relation to the blade tends to be small and they are shorter than wide. Petiole sinuses are open, with V-shaped base (sometimes key-shaped). Sinuses haven´t teeth and their base is not limited by any veins. Upper lateral sinuses are absent. Medium-high density of downward and upright hairs between the main veins, being higher that of upright hairs. Density of both hair types over the main veins is also high, especially on the base of the veins. The main veins along the bundle usually have upright and downward hairs, although sometimes no type of hairiness may be present. The petiole has no hairs and is longer than the main vein.

BUNCH

Straggly cluster, conical and without wings.

BERRY AND SEED

Uniform, spherical and yellowish-green berries. Medium bloom and hilum little apparent. Not-coloured pulp, very juicy, soft and without particular flavour. The pedicel is easy to separate and it presents a ring.

OTHER

Semi-erect shoot. The dorsal side of nodes and internodes is red with green or red stripes; while the ventral is usually almost red with fine green lines and, sometimes, green. Red tendrils. Medium and null or very-low density of downward and upright hairs density, respectively, in nodes and internodes. Buds anthocyanin pigmentation is very weak. Discontinuous tendrils distribution with an average length of 18.48 cm.
